ALABAMA GULF COAST ZOO

If you love animals, you will love the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This zoo is home to more than 600 animals from 199 species, including lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, reptiles, and birds. You can also have an up-close and intimate encounter with sloths, kangaroos, or lemurs, or feed the giraffes at the zoo. The zoo is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm and offers discounts for locals, groups, military, and seniors. The zoo is also known for its resilience in the face of hurricanes and its appearance on the Animal Planet series The Little Zoo That Could.
